Jailbreak iOS 10.3.3

If you want to know if you can jailbreak your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch on iOS 10.3.3 – iOS 10, then you have come to the right place.

Well-known hacker Luco Todesco, going by the Twitter handle qwertyoruiop, released the first jailbreak for iOS 10 known as Yalu (formerly Yalu + Mach Portal) on December 21, 2016. The Yalu jailbreak made use of Ian Beer’s, of Google Project Zero, mach_portal exploit. He then released a more stable version of the Yalu jailbreak tool for iOS 10.2 by using Ian Beer’s, extra_recipe exploit with the help of Marco Grassi. You have to use a computer application known as Cydia Impactor to install the Yalu jailbreak, which allows signing of apps not in the App Store.

Yalu jailbreak supported all 64-bit devices mentioned below except for iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, which is only supported by the older, more unstable version for 10.1.1.

  • iPhone 7 & iPhone 7 Plus (only on iOS 10.1 – iOS 10.1.1)
  • iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6, iPhone 5s, iPhone SE
  • iPad Air 2, iPad Air, iPad mini 4, iPad mini 3, iPad mini 2, iPad Pro
  • iPod Touch 6G

Todesco was planning to release a more stable version for iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus on iOS 10.1.1 but he left the jailbreaking scene in March. The Yalu Jailbreak tool cannot be used to jailbreak iOS 10.3.3, iOS 10.3.2, iOS 10.3.1, iOS 10.3, or iOS 10.2.1.

The Pangu team has demoed an iOS 10.3.1 jailbreak at the Janus conference at the Mercedes Benz Arena, on Expo Avenue in Shanghai. However, they haven’t announced any plans of releasing Pangu jailbreak tool for iOS 10.3.3 – iOS 10.2.1. It has been speculated that the Pangu Jailbreak would support all 64-bit devices including the iPhone 7 and 7+, something that the Yalu 10.2 Jailbreak was not capable of doing
