Latest iOS 8.2 Jailbreak Status

There is currently no tool available to jailbreak iOS 8.2. Apple had patched several vulnerabilities used by the TaiG and PPJailbreak in iOS 8.1.3, and also patch another vulnerabilities in iOS 8.2, so you cannot use the TaiG or PP Jailbreak tool to jailbreak iOS 8.2.

However, the good news is that, security expert and hacker Stefan Essar aka ion1c has shown off a jailbroken iPhone 6 Plus running iOS 8.4 in a video, which means that iOS 8.2 can also be jailbroken.

Users who have jailbroken their device on iOS 8.1.2 or lower should not upgrade their device to iOS 8.2 as one would lose the jailbreak and it will also wipe out the jailbreak tweaks installed on your device.

Jailbreak iOS 8.3

The latest iOS software update, iOS 8.3, also cannot be jailbroken. Check our jailbreak iOS 8.3 page for the latest update.

Jailbreak iOS 8.1.2 or lower

You can jailbreak iOS 8.1.2 or lower, so check our jailbreak page for links to the latest tutorials.
