Unc0ver is one of the most renowned jailbreaking tools in the iPhone community. It was among the first tool to support jailbreaking iPhone X/XS and iPhone 11 on iOS 13 – iOS 13.3. Unc0ver jailbreak has been developed by the @pwn20wnd team. It is a semi-tethered jailbreak, which is similar to an untethered jailbreak. This means you will have to re-jailbreak your iPhone every time after a reboot. However, unlike an untethered jailbreak, you can jailbreak your device again by simply running the Unc0ver app on your iPhone.

Unc0ver jailbreak supports iOS 11 all the way up to iOS 14 – iOS 14.3. Right now, it is the only jailbreak tool to support jailbreaking iPhone XS and newer iPhones like the iPhone 12 running iOS 14 – iOS 14.3.

Before you try to jailbreak your iPhone or iPad using Unc0ver, it is extremely important that you ensure no iOS 14 OTA file has been downloaded and saved on your device. Make sure to delete it from Settings -> Storage and only then proceed to jailbreak your iPhone/iPad. If an OTA file is present, your device will end up in a respring or reboot loop.
