Apple today released iOS 12.4 to the public. While the beta builds of iOS 12.4 did not contain any new feature, Apple has added some new features to the final build of the OS.

Below is everything that’s new with iOS 12.4 public release.

iOS 12.4: What’s New

New Migration Tool

iOS 12.4 brings a new migration utility that allows one to easily transfer content from their old iPhone to new one wirelessly during the setup process.

Fix for Walkie-Talkie App

For Apple Watch, the iOS 12.4 and watchOS 5.3 update fixes the eavesdropping bug and re-enables the Walkie-Talkie app.

Apple News+ Improvements

After updating to iOS 12.4, you will be able to access your downloaded issues from the My Magazines section.

You can also clear your downloaded magazines by clearing the history.

No Apple Card Release

iOS 12.4 was expected to mark the launch of Apple Card but that is nowhere to be seen. It is possible that Apple could officially announce the release of the Apple Card later this week.

For watchOS 5.3 released alongside iOS 12.4, Apple expanded the ECG app support to Canada and Singapore. The update also fixes the Walkie-Talkie app’s eavesdropping bug.

We are yet to come across any other changes or improvements in iOS 12.4. If you have found any other improvement or enhancement in the OS, drop a comment and let us know about it.
