Here’s a foolproof step-by-step guide on how to install themes on iOS 11 – iOS 11.1.2 running on your iPhone and iPad.

Requirements

  • You need to jailbreak your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch using Electra Jailbreak tool for iOS 11 – iOS 11.1.2. This won’t work if you’ve jailbroken using LiberiOS jailbreak as Electra Jailbreak includes Substitute, a Cydia alternative, which allows you to install jailbreak tweaks and themes. If you need help check our step-by-step tutorial on how to jailbreak iOS 11 – iOS 11.1.2 using Electra jailbreak.
  • Download FilzaEscaped IPA from this link.
  • You probably have Cydia Impactor on your computer. If not download and install it using this link. Cydia Impactor is available for macOS, Windows, Linux (32-bit and 64-bit).
  • Download ZipApp Free app from the App Store using this link. You can use any other app but for the sake of this guide, we’re using this app.

Step 1: Sideload FilzaEscaped IPA using Cydia Impactor

Connect your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch to the computer with the Lightning cable to sideload the FilzaEscaped IPA file.

Launch Cydia Impactor on your computer. It will detect your iOS device. Drag the FilzaEscaped IPA file you had downloaded earlier on to its UI. Enter the Apple ID and password for your Apple Developer account when prompted, and wait for Cydia Impactor to sideload the signed app on your iOS device.

After it is done, you can verify if FilzaEscaped has been installed on your iOS device.

If you hit provision.cpp:168′ error while trying to sideload Electra IPA, then check our post on how to fix the issue.

Step 2: Download Theme

Go to CydiaUpdates.com on your iOS device and search for your favorite theme.

Tap on the link for the deb file under Version History.

Tap Open the deb file in “ZipApp Free”.

Tap on the Yes button, when ZipApp Free app prompts you if you would like to decompress the file into the current directory.

You should now have the .theme folder.

Step 3: Install Theme

Open FilzaEscaped and select “Apps Manager”.

Go to /ZipApp Free/Documents/ImportedFiles and find the .theme folder.

Tap and holder on the .theme folder.

Navigate back to /bootstrap/Library/Themes folder, and paste the .theme folder by tapping on the Pasteboard button at the bottom.

Step 4: Apply The Theme

Next, launch Anemone from the Home screen which is also installed by the Electra Jailbreak.

You should see the theme you had copied in the list of themes in the left-hand sidebar.

Tap on it to select it, and then tap on Apply to apply the theme.

Step 5: Reboot and Re-Jailbreak

You can reboot your iOS device, and re-jailbreak it using Electra Jailbreak. That’s it your favorite theme should be working, and it should customize the look and feel of your iPhone or iPad. Note: You can also respring your iOS device at this stage, but we’ve seen that it doesn’t work always, so it is better to just reboot and re-jailbreak.
