Apple recently released iTunes 12.7 for Mac and Windows which brings some notable changes that could affect your iTunes workflow. While the new version of iTunes adds support for iOS 11, it also removes the iOS App Store as well as the ability to ability to sync apps and ringtones on an iOS device using iTunes.

You can still manage and download apps via the native iOS App Store on iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. But for those of you who really require the old version of iTunes, the good news is that you can easily downgrade from iTunes 12.7 to iTunes 12.6. If you have updated your device to iOS 11, then we recommend that you stay on iTunes 12.7 and avoid downgrading.

In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to downgrade from iTunes 12.7 to 12.6 on Mac and Windows.
