Pangu-Jailbreak

Not long after the iOS 9.3.3 jailbreak was released by Pangu, a team going by the name Totoateam created a Safari-based jailbreak that allowed users to jailbreak their iOS 9.3.3 devices without using a PC. Unfortunately, this method didn’t last long as Apple started to revoke the certificates of browser-based jailbreaks bringing an end to such tools.

Despite this, 25pp has now released a new method for installing the iOS 9.3.3 jailbreak directly from your device without using a PC. The jailbreak is installed with a 1 year certificate that lasts up to April 2017, but comes in Chinese language.

The method is slightly different compared to past browser-based jailbreak tools. Nonetheless, it’s more convenient than using a PC. To find out how to install the iOS 9.3.3 jailbreak directly from your device, follow the steps below.

Step 12: Pangu will now begin the jailbreak process. A couple of notifications will appear on the screen along with a low storage warning. You can simply ignore that. Make sure not to unlock your device until the process finishes.

Step 13: Once the jailbreak is completed, your device will restart and you should see Cydia’s icon on your Home screen, which means that the process finished successfully.

Cydia will take some time “Preparing filesystem” when you launch it for the first time. It will exit after it is done, and respring your device.

Since the jailbreak is semi-tethered, you’ll have to use the Pangu jailbreak app to re-jailbreak your device every time it reboots. In case you delete the app, you can simply follow the same steps as above to re-install it onto your device.
