The day that every iPhone, iPad and iPod touch user has been waiting for since June has finally arrived. Earlier this afternoon, Apple pushed out the highly-anticipated iOS 8 software update to the public for compatible devices. If you have just upgraded to the latest version, read ahead to learn how to use all the new iOS 8 features — even though some are missing — from top to bottom.

iOS 8 is the latest version of Apple’s mobile operating system for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. The software will come pre-installed on the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, while it is available as a free update for iPhone 4s, iPhone 5, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5s, iPad 2, iPad (third-gen), iPad (fourth-gen), iPad Air, iPad mini and iPod touch (fifth-generation) through Settings > General > Software Update.
