OS X 10.9.4 finally fixes annoying bug that prevented Macs from connecting to known Wi-Fi Networks and more

Alongside iOS 7.1.2, Apple also released an update to OS X Mavericks this morning. The OS X Update 10.9.4 brings a number of bug fixes and stability improvements as well as Safari 7.0.5.

Here are the release notes:

The OS X Mavericks 10.9.4 Update is recommended for all Mavericks users. It improves the stability, compatibility, and security of your Mac.

This update:

  • Fixes an issue that prevented some Macs from automatically connecting to known Wi-Fi networks
  • Fixes issue causing the background or Apple logo to appear incorrectly on startup
  • Improves the reliability of waking from sleep
  • Includes Safari 7.0.5

The update is available from the Updates tab in the Mac App Store or from Apple menu () > Software Update. It requires a restart to complete updating.
