Apple has just released an update for its WWDC app for this year’s WorldWide Developer Conference that kicks off on June 2nd.
The app confirms that the event will kick off with the Keynote address scheduled from 10 am to 12 pm.
It doesn’t come as a surprise, but it is the first time Apple has first confirmed that it will be holding the Keynote address this year. Apple is widely expected to give us a sneak peak at iOS 8 and OS X 10.10, the next generation operation system for iOS devices and Mac.
As for the app, it has been updated with a new orange theme and the familiar iOS 7 design language. The app requires iOS 7.1 or later (iTunes link).
9to5Mac reports that Apple will also unveil new hardware at the event. It is not clear if Apple will unveil the rumored 12-inch MacBook Air, updated MacBook Pros, the next generation Apple TV or the highly anticipated iWatch. We don’t expect Apple to unveil the next generation iPhone, iPads at the WWDC 2014. We expect Apple to unveil the new iPhones in September or October timeframe, and the new iPads in October or November.
