Apple has just released iOS 6.1.3 (Build: 10B329) for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.

According to the release notes, iOS 6.1.3 fixes the Lock screen bug and also brings improvements to Maps in Japan.

Here’s the release notes:

This update contains improvements and other bug fixes including:

– Fixes a bug that could allow someone to bypass the passcode and access the Phone app
– Improvements to Maps in Japan

Jailbreakers should avoid upgrading your iOS device to iOS 6.1.3, as the evad3rs dev team has confirmed that evasi0n won’t work with it.

Jailbreakers should also take a backup of the SHSB blobs for iOS 6.1.2 using TinyUmbrella before Apple stops signing iOS 6.1.2 firmware file, if you haven’t jailbroken your iOS device with evasi0n yet.

It looks like the update is being rolled out to all the servers as it is currently available via OTA update for only some users. We’ll update the post with the direct download links as soon as they’re available.

Update 1:

You can also download iOS 6.1.3 firmware file (ipsw) using the direct download links from our iOS download pages:

Update 2:

Apple has fixed 4 out of the 5 security flaws used in the evasi0n jailbreak in iOS 6.1.3. Check this post for more details.

Update 3:

If you’re an iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS or iPod touch 4G user and accidentally upgraded to iOS 6.1.3 then the good news is that it is still possible to jailbreak your iOS device using Redsn0w. Check this post for the step-by-step tutorial on how to jailbreak your device.
